Prayer requests...

The White family, who i had the pleasure of meeting last June in Bercy, Haiti with a group from JBA are in need of our prayers. They are in the process of adopting a little boy named Clifford with special needs. Last night Clifford's birthmother changed her mind about the adoption. The visa appointment was today and they haven't yet heard what she said. Please pray for peace and the best outcome for lil Clifford, the Whites, Clifford's birthfamily in Haiti, and his family at the Orphanage.

Also pray for our trip to UGANDA!

Uganda

For those of you who don't know, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Uganda at the end of this month with Children's HopeChest. I have no idea why and how this worked out!!! It's just another miracle how things fell into place and I can't wait to see what incredible things I will learn and what God has to show me thru it all.

Just a little background on the trip... it's April 28 - May 7th and I am going with a group of women in what they call a Vision Trip. We will be visiting different orphanages and villages to learn more and access the needs of these kiddos. The goal is to find churches, communities, and businesses willing to sponsor entire orphanages or child-headed homes within certain villages.

Please pray for sponsors... It is enormous what one church or organization can do for children to meet their basic needs: whether it's shelter, food, clean water, schooling, or safety.
Our basic itinerary is:

Wed, 4/29 - Drive to Kampala

Thurs, 4/30 - Drive to Jinja (pick up the rest of our team and visit Amazima Ministries and Rapha Orphan Village), then to Bugiri

Fri, 5/1 - Bugiri (visit sponsored and YET-TO-BE sponsored sites, feeding centers in partnership with church plants)

Sat, 5/2 - Bugiri (visit more sites in the am), drive to Soroti

Sun, 5/3 - Soroti (church with Joseph, the country director, and visit Child Headed Households)

Mon, 5/4 - Soroti (same)

Tues, 5/5 - Drive to Jinja (afternoon spent at Rapha Orphan Village)

Wed, 5/6 - Last day... (site-seeing, shopping, visit orphanages)... ends in Entebbe at airport
